Contrary to what was announced by the Government in a press conference, the Superintendence of Telecommunications confirmed that it has not yet received instructions from the Ministry of Science, Innovation, Technology and Telecommunications to start the bidding process for radio electric spectrum that would initiate the process of adoption of 5G technology. In addition, it assured to have issued the necessary technical and analysis reports.
