The Honduran Telecommunications Company has announced an investment of US$26 million in new technologies. The aim of this decision is to transform and stabilize Hondutel into a provider of corporate and residential Internet services, as well as internet-based television services.
Additionally, the company will offer the Starlink satellite internet service through an agreement with SpaceX. According to José Antonio Morales, manager of Hondutel, the service from Elon Musk's company will be implemented and marketed by the Honduran company.
