Bukele is the clear favorite for Sunday's presidential elections

Five million Salvadorans are eligible to vote. According to polls, the ruling party, seeking re-election, has over 80% of the vote intention. A similar outcome is expected in the unicameral Legislature where 60 out of 84 seats are being renewed. The electoral debate revolved around crime, with the balance on the adoption of bitcoin taking a backseat.
