Court suspends Huawei's exclusion from 5G network deployment

The Administrative Court has decided to suspend Huawei's exclusion from the 5G network bidding process, which means that the company will be able to participate on equal terms with other providers in the bidding process.

Edwin Estrada, a lawyer and telecommunications consultant, stated: "This is a provisional measure, while a main case is resolved, and it orders the suspension and legal effects of the cybersecurity regulations related to fifth-generation networks, as well as any awarding act related to those networks, recognizing their importance for all sectors of the economy." This decision represents a legal victory for Huawei in its attempt to be considered as a regular provider in the 5G network implementation project.
