With the inauguration of the Junín Regional Broadband Project in June, there are ten that are currently in operation: Huancavelica, Apurímac, Ayacucho, Cusco, Ica, Junín, Lambayeque, Lima, Moquegua and Tacna. These projects benefit 2,563 population centers, with more than 4,590 public institutions connected. It is estimated that they reach 1.5 million people.
As part of these connectivity projects, the National Telecommunications Program delivered 29,150 tablets this year to the regional governments of Lambayeque, Apurímac and Ayacucho.
