The Congress of the Republic has officially received the Artificial Intelligence bill, an initiative aimed at establishing the legal foundations for the development, responsible use, and ethical implementation of this technology in Colombia. The proposal was submitted by the Minister of ICT, Julián Molina, and the Minister of Science, Yesenia Olaya, who highlighted the project’s focus.
“We aim to protect innovation, ensuring that those developing this technology are not limited in their creativity, and that it supports economic development and digital freedom—allowing it to evolve, but with boundaries that safeguard human protection. The real limit is that it must serve humanity,” said ICT Minister Julián Molina.
