TikTok returned to the Apple and Google app stores in the United States on Thursday after briefly shutting down last month when a deadline given by law to be sold expired.
Donald Trump, taking office on January 20, pushed back the deadline and also assured the tech giants that they would not be fined for distributing or maintaining it.
The popular short-video app is used by nearly half of Americans and was the second most downloaded app in the United States last year.
