Servicio Satelital and Famaval seal alliance for production and commercialization of OLI robot

The agreement establishes that OLI, which was entirely designed in Argentina by Servicio Satelital, will be manufactured by Famaval at its plant in Vale de Cambra, Portugal. Its production capacity is 200 units per week. In this way, the alliance covers the serial production, marketing and distribution in Europe, Africa and Latin America of the self-pointing robot.

“Choosing Famaval as a strategic partner will allow us to take OLI to another level. Its potential in sectors such as mining, oil and telecommunications is immense and we believe that it will have a transformative impact in emerging markets where connectivity is a priority,” said Eduardo Lema, CEO of Servicio Satelital, through a statement released within the framework of Satellite 2025.

OLI was jointly financed by the Argentine State and Servicio Satelital. It is an autonomous self-pointing system based on cartographic parameters, capable of operating with any geostationary satellite.
