This increase is expected after the launch of the last two satellites in the fleet in December 2024 (called 7 and 8). The company's CEO, Adel Al-Sayeh, added that once the constellation is complete - three more devices are yet to be put into orbit - "it will completely change the game."
The executive admitted that the fleet in MEO has not reached its "momentum" yet. Currently, the capacity is fully sold, between government clients and cruise ships, and that is why the new satellites are needed. "In 2026 we will see the true benefit that O3b mPOWER will bring," he promised.
