Satellite 2025

RBC Signals announces expansion of its ground station network with a dozen new antennas.

They will be located in North America, South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia and aim to improve satellite communications in GEO, LEO, and MEO, as announced during Satellite 2025.

For the project, the Washington-based firm will purchase ten six-meter S- and X-band antennas from Microsoft.

RBC Signals, founded this year and present at the fair, plans to offer Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS). Libra Group, a subsidiary of Space Leasing International (SLI), also participates in the initiative, financing the acquisition of the antennas. SLI will own the assets, and RBC Signals will operate and maintain them under an operating lease.
