Antel recorded earnings in excess of US$ 219 million in 2024

Like the rest of the state-owned companies, Antel published its 2024 financial report, the last corresponding to the previous government administration. Official figures show that the company returned to profitability, recording earnings of US$219.6 million. Meanwhile, the company's return on equity stood at 15%, according to audited financial statements by KPMG.

The breakdown by business line shows that Antel’s operating revenue totaled US$1.0726 billion, a 3.6% increase in nominal terms and measured in local currency compared to 2023. Mobile telephony revenue reached US$485.7 million (+1.7% year-on-year), accounting for 45.3% of total income.

Data services revenue came in at US$470.5 million (+8.3% year-on-year), representing 43.9% of total revenue. Finally, fixed-line telephony revenue totaled US$95.8 million, down 3.1%.
