Telefónica del Perú informed the Securities Market Superintendency that its board of directors—currently controlled by the Argentine firm Integra Tec International—agreed at its latest meeting, held on May 9, to propose three amendments to the company’s bylaws.
The company stated that it will propose changing its corporate name, creating a new class of non-voting preferred shares, and partially modifying its bylaws as a result of the aforementioned changes. These proposals will be submitted for a vote at the General Shareholders’ Meeting scheduled for June 9.
