The company operates in GEO using capacity provided by Hispasat and SES. In LEO, it maintains a distribution agreement with Starlink and a partnership with Eutelsat OneWeb, and it plans to soon add capacity from Telesat Lightspeed once Telesat’s fleet becomes operational.
Fernando Gatti, Orbith’s Chief Technology Officer, presented the company’s multi-orbit connectivity strategy at Satellite Map Day 2025 and spoke about its own geostationary satellite, Orbith 1. Scheduled for launch in 2026, this microsatellite will be manufactured by Astranis and used exclusively by the company.
He highlighted that Orbith’s multi-orbit model enables unlimited data in GEO and defined quotas in LEO. It also includes the ability to manage traffic, establish SLAs, determine costs per capacity and terminal and deploy private networks. According to Gatti, the combined plans can reduce monthly recurring costs (MRC) by up to 45% compared to traditional schemes. Orbith has agreements with Fortinet, Cisco, Huawei and Commbox to support its infrastructure.
