Satellite Map Day 2025

Invap prepares two new products related to GEO flexibility for 2027

Hernán Sineiro, a Satellite Communications Specialist at the Argentine firm, unveiled two new developments during his participation in Satellite Map Day 2025. The RUTA-C transparent digital processor offers an alternative to the fixed analog design for filtering, channel routing and frequency conversion, enabling more efficient use of resources. With a modular and scalable design -ranging from 20 to 80 GHz of processable bandwidth- it reduces non-recurring engineering costs.

In addition, it enables sub-band muting, power telemetry per sub-band, and the progressive deployment of gateways based on demand, resulting in a lower initial Capex.

On the other hand, Sineiro spoke about the RUTA-B beam digital processor, a proprietary beam-hopping solution. It features up to 12 simultaneous transmit and receive beams, up to 10 Gbps of total capacity, adjustable pointing capability between fixed beams, and the availability of wide-beam coverage.
