Viva continues 2G network decommissioning process

The mobile services company Nuevatel (Viva) reported that it continues upgrading its networks by deactivating 2G technology to replace it with 3G and 4G across 11 base stations in various locations throughout the country.

Viva indicated that starting June 23, it will deactivate 3 2G base stations in the city of Oruro, 4 in Potosí, 2 in Santa Cruz, and 2 base stations in Tarija.
