The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) has granted Viasat the right to operate the ViaSat-3 satellite in Brazil at the 79° West orbital position.
The authorization is valid for 15 years, non-exclusive, and covers the entire national territory. The satellite will use the 17.7 GHz to 20.2 GHz band for downlink and the 27.5 GHz to 30 GHz band for uplink.
