Somos Internet raised US$14 million to expand its coverage

Somos Internet completed a Series A funding round of US$ 14 million to expand its network in urban and peripheral areas. The company stated that the funds will allow it to scale its high-speed fiber optic model, focusing on middle- and low-income households.

The company expects to triple its user base over the next year. Among its goals are entering new cities and strengthening its digital customer service platform. The capital comes from regional and international investors specializing in technology and essential services.
