ZTE launches Air Max solution with AI-native infrastructure layer

Air Max is built on a comprehensive 10-block AI capability. It systematically upgrades mobile network infrastructure and establishes a three-tier capability system comprising AI-native infrastructure, L4 autonomous intelligent operations and a monetization engine.

The AI-native infrastructure layer delivers breakthroughs in network performance and energy efficiency through integrated AI radio and AI in wireless devices, leveraging AI-based DPD and related algorithms to reduce energy consumption by 35-40%, along with AI-enhanced MIMO technologies (beam optimization and channel equalization) that improve spectral efficiency by 20%.

This layer includes a heterogeneous computing architecture (AI ASIC + xPU) for communications and AI workloads and the Air engine, which has already been deployed at more than 150,000 sites worldwide. It also features GigaMIMO technology for ultra-high throughput (192Gbps) and a sixfold increase in edge speeds. Finally, AI powers integrated sensing and communication (ISAC), achieving over 95% accuracy in drone detection and supporting high-precision sensing applications.

The L4 autonomous intelligent operations layer aims for end-to-end integration. It improves autonomous decision-making accuracy in collaboration between LLMs and small models, raising results to 92%. The Co-Sight 2.0 agent factory enables minute-level generation of reliable, industrial-grade intelligent agents, leading the industry in development efficiency.

At the monetization engine layer, it drives business model innovation and continuously expands operators’ value range. It enables experience monetization through scenario-based value-added packages, accelerating the strategic shift from traffic-centric operations to experience-centric operations.
