Regional Telecommunications Meeting celebrates 30th anniversary in Rosario

The city of Rosario hosted the 30th Regional Telecommunications Meeting on August 5 and 6. The official opening of the trade exhibition was attended by Rosario’s Secretary of Productive Development and Employment, Leandro Lopérgolo; Provincial Senator Ciro Seisas; and representatives of companies, cooperatives, internet service providers, public agencies and institutions.

Lopérgolo highlighted that “technology should be viewed as a productive tool capable of driving development, innovation and competitiveness across different sectors.”

The organizer and CEO of the Regional Telecommunications Meeting, Jorge Jacobi, expressed his gratitude for the support received over the past 30 years and recalled the first edition, held in 1996.

Meanwhile, Juan Ramón García Bish, a speaker and long-time participant in the event, highlighted its growth over the past two decades, during which he has been part of the Regional Telecommunications Meeting.

Recognition. During the event, Jacobi received official recognition from the Province of Santa Fe. Specifically, the Provincial Senate issued a declaration recognizing the event, at the initiative of Rosario Department Senator Ciro Seisas.
