Bitel said its 5G network now has more than 70 antennas nationwide and that its coverage increased 45% over the past year, allowing more than 8 million people to access the mobile technology.
The company recommends that users check network availability in the areas where they most frequently use their mobile phones before signing up for a plan or purchasing a compatible device.
Bitel also said eligible customers can access unlimited 5G data while connected to the network, meaning usage during that period is not deducted from the base data included in their plan, subject to the current service terms.
