The major shareholder of the cellco got US Justice to deny the request of Venconsul, to prevent TIM from continuing capital reimbursements in Digitel. Besides, the Temporary Restriction Order issued some days ago will be lifted. Justice considered additional protection measures to those requested by Venconsul are not necessary, after considering interaction between both companies is regulated enough. Venconsul argued that to make the contributions it shall obtain dollars from own shareholders, to convert them in bolivars, and make payments in Digitel. However, it asserted that, if the legal battle on the validity of the reimbursement is won, Digitel won¿t be in condition to return resources.
