Ariel Schapira has become the new Regional TEM director for the South Cone

Ariel Schapira has become Regional Director of Telefónica Móviles for the Southern Cone. Schapira, an Argentine coming from the BellSouth headquarters-and who was Executive Director of Movicom in Argentina- has become the second most important regional director in Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. He will report to Eduardo Caride, who since November has been responsible for the tri-market region's operation. Schapira will lead corporate projects related to regional activities. Corporate clients and long distance services will be among his main objectives, those duties being reported to Emilio Gayo, general director of Telefónica Móviles International Operations.
