Ollanta Humala visits the new Satellite Tracking Control Center

Newly installed in the district of San Isidro, the center serves the purpose of monitoring commercial fishing boats, to avoid incursions in reserved or prohibited areas and assist in emergencies. The president, Ollanta Humala Tasso, said that this center has new satellite tracking software and the latest technology which will automate several monitoring processes, provide information, security and establish a more efficient system of consultations on the operation of boat buoys.
