Content, network technology and handsets will be the focus of Millicom in 2017

Mauricio Ramos, CEO of the company, spoke with Convergencialatina about the launch of DTH in Paraguay, the tax reform in Colombia and the increase of content with Tigo Sports. Tomorrow, Millicom's financial results for 2016 will be announced: Ramos announced that the goal of exceeding 8 million households with its residential cable offer has been achieved.

Convergencialatina: You have stated that the middle class in the region will grow about 60% over the next ten years and that this segment will define the operators' business. How do you see this in the light of a more complicated macroeconomic environment in the region?
