The operator recorded a net profit of US$ 676 million between July and September, compared to US$ 980 million in the same period of 2018. The company attributed it, among other reasons, to the depreciation of the Argentine and Colombian pesos against the US dollar. This led to the integral cost of financing to add US$ 641 million.

The results of América Móvil for the third quarter of 2019 show a 31% decrease in net income, impacted by the behavior of Latin American currencies, especially the Colombian peso and the Argentine peso. Meanwhile, operating income was US$ 1.976 billion, an interannual increase of 7.3%.
