Karen Abudinen - Credit: Mintic

She is a lawyer from Universidad del Norte. Her professional career began at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank. In 2013 she was appointed as Secretary of Social Management of the Barranquilla Mayor's Office and in 2014 she worked as director of Early Childhood of the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF). In 2016 she assumed the position of Secretary of Education in the Barranquilla Mayor's Office and two years later she was appointed by President Iván Duque as Presidential Advisor for the Regions, where she led the Workshops Building Country.
