Last August 9, LLA (Liberty Latin America) announced that it had purchased Telefónica's operations in Costa Rica. Guillermo Ponce, LLA's Senior VP of South and Central Markets, confided to Convergencialatina that, despite the delay in the approval process, the preparation for integration began months ago. The combined operation was carried out by Johanna Escobar, a former Telefónica official who now works as General Manager.
