Dell predictions for 2024 and outlook for Latin America

Generative AI, edge platforms and Zero Trust infrastructure will be trends for next year. The firm foresees a "technological renaissance" in the region thanks to these advances.

Dell's global chief technology officer, John Roese, highlighted that “generative AI will move from disruption to optimization, and the dialogue will move from theory to practice.” Furthermore, “the “edge platform” approach will become more prevalent and enterprises and ecosystems will offer models focused on simpler edge platforms.” On the other hand, he said that “Zero Trust infrastructure will become a reality and will be mandatory in critical environments by 2024, especially in response to regional pressure from cyberattacks.”
