In its latest “State of AI in Telecommunications” survey, the chipmaker highlights the increased interest of telecommunications companies in GenAI and large language models (LLM). It is linked to the need to manage more complex networks, which include cloud-native technologies, software and cybersecurity.

According to the Nvidia report “State of AI in Telecommunications”, artificial intelligence has become the axis of investments and priorities of telecommunications operators, in a shift that could leave 5G technology in the background.
