MWC Barcelona 2025 closed, with 56% of attendees coming from mobile-adjacent industries

The GSMA-organized event came to a close yesterday, with 109,000 attendees. AI in all its forms dominated the discussions and presentations, followed by telco consolidation in the European market. It was anticipated that in 2026 the show will be held from March 2-5.

The MWC Barcelona 2025 concluded yesterday, with a 7.9% increase in visitors compared to last year's edition. In line with recent trends, 56% of attendees came from industries adjacent to the core mobile sector (compared to 59% in 2024).
