General Regulation of Satellite Management and Services published: What are the keys?

The new regulation updates and modifies the current regulations and aims to "simplify, optimize, and provide transparency to the administrative procedures associated with the provision of satellite facilities and satellite services." The new powers of the regulatory body, Enacom.

Through Resolution 58/2025 of the Secretariat of Innovation, Science, and Technology of the Chief of Staff's Office, the area led by Darío Genua complies with the provisions of Resolution No. 12/2024, which created the Registry for the Provision of Satellite Facilities and also mandated updates and modifications to current regulations (Part I of the Regulation, Res. No. 3609 of the former Secretariat of Communications, of February 1999; and Part II, Res. No. 2325 of 1997, both ruled out according to Articles 2 and 3 of the text of the Official Gazette of this Tuesday, April 8).
