ICT sector awaits details of infrastructure plan

The framework covers: mobile access networks in uncovered areas; a neutral wholesale network; and funding/support for ICT service providers.

The National Plan for Critical Communications Infrastructure was announced in advance by the ENACOM interventor, Juan Martín Ozores, at the 20th edition of NPlay Cono Sur, organized by Grupo Convergencia. Hours later, the announcement materialized in ENACOM Resolution 359/2025 in the Official Gazette, and the initiative was described as a “strategic proposal, developed to improve connectivity and expand access to information and communication technologies.”
