It has now been announced that Anthropic will acquire one million TPUs, paying around US$25 billion for them. Meta is reportedly considering following the same path.

The recent sale of Google’s TPUs (Tensor Processing Units) to Anthropic for over US$ 25 billion has raised concerns among Nvidia investors, amid the prospect that Big Tech could increase its commercial efforts and displace Nvidia products in various markets.
