The Procurement Directorate of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad, ICE) recommended awarding IT Servicios de Infocomunicación S.A. lots 4, 5 and 6 of the tender to build the data transport network for its 5G infrastructure. The three lots are worth a total of US$38.83 million, and ICE has until Sept. 9 to formalize the award.
