Trump and Macron agreed to postpone negotiations on GAFA rates

It would be until the end of the year, as they decided in a conversation last Sunday. "We will work together to achieve a good agreement and avoid any increase in customs tariffs," said French President Emmanuel Macron. On January 7, the United States and France had set 15 days to reach an agreement and allow the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) to work towards an international rate for the giants of the digital sector.

Tomorrow, in the framework of the Davor forum, the French Minister of Economy, Bruno Le Maire, will meet with his American counterpart, Steven Mnuchin, to deepen the details of discussions within the framework of the OECD.
