Aurora submarine cable to start operating under a maintenance consortium model in 2022

FP Telecommunications in its first phase will face the construction of the 2,750 km line, linking the United States, Panama and Colombia. But then an operator will be selected for the cable, and partners who acquire capacity will take over the maintenance of their fiber pairs and landing stations. Luiz Fuschini, president of FPT, anticipated that the investment in the project amounts to US$ 355 million.

Argentine government launches the National Connectivity Program

President Alberto Fernández yesterday led the launch of the National Connectivity Program, which provides for a total investment of US$ 504 million to provide fiber optic and satellite connectivity throughout the country.
