Claro, TIM and Vivo are already negotiating with Oi the purchase of their mobile unit

The CEO of Telecom Italia, owner of TIM Brasil, Luigi Gubitosi, pointed out that the consortium made up of Claro, Vivo and TIM is already negotiating with Oi to buy its mobile unit, having completed exclusive deals with the company Highline.

Gubitosi also pointed out that in the case of reaching an agreement, the operation could only be finalized in late 2021, since Oi will have to present the sale plan to its creditors in an assembly, which could happen in late August and then enter in a long period in which the operation must be certified by Justice since the company is subject to a judicial recovery plan.
