Michelena announces Connectivity and Digital Transformation Bill

The head of the Ministry of Telecommunications and the Information Society, Andrés Michelena, appeared before the Commission for Economic and Productive Development of the National Assembly, which is working on a project to reform the Ley Orgánica de Telecomunicaciones (LOT) (Organic Telecommunications Law), where, in addition to proposing various changes to the LOT, he announced that, in the coming weeks, the Executive will send a Digital Connectivity and Transformation Bill, which will seek to integrate various legal bodies with the aim of consolidating that transformation.
