Disney+ exceeded 57 million subscribers and announced landing in Latin America for November

The figure far exceeds Disney's expectations for the streaming platform (between 60 and 90 million subscribers in 2024). When considering the entire portfolio of direct consumer services, Disney's paid subscriptions exceed the 100 million.

These results were part of the company's financial report for the second quarter, which showed a serious impact of Covid-19. Revenue fell 42% to US$11.779 billion and operating profit fell 72% to US$1.099 billion.
