Government requests proposals for broadband

The executive director of the Financial Advisory Authority and Fiscal Agency (AAFAF, in Spanish), Omar Marrero Díaz, announced the publication of a request for proposals (RFP) addressed to firms trained to provide fund management services for broadband telecommunications infrastructure (“Broadband Infrastructure Fund”).

The official maintains that an extension of the service will facilitate distance education, while improving health access and boosting business.
