Eutelsat plans to launch 4 satellites for LEO in 2021 and incorporate the LoRa and Sigfox networks

The verticals in IoT are segmented into four groups: data and applications, intensive, which are more critical, mobility and what they call “IoT Move”, in which they will compete with the Inmarsat service.

The satellite operator's ELO project is a multi-phase project, with a first constellation of satellites to be launched this month and the first tests of which will be in January. The first network incorporated will be that of Sigfox and they plan to add LoRa in the second half of 2021. Although the deployment will be global, they will begin operations in Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia.
