Cable Onda and the Government deny that Cable & Wireless bought the company

Diego Eleta, Operations Manager of Cable Onda, and Jimmy Papadimitriu, minister of the presidency denied that Cable & Wireless Panamá (49% owned by the state) has purchased the Cable pay-TV operator Cable Onda for US$ 200 million, responding to a rumor that came out last week in the telecommunications sector.
