SAP launches a convergent charging & billing platform for operators

In Latin America SAP launched its SAP Convergent Charging & Billing platform, a complex service billing solution oriented to telecom providers. It is a modular product for managing high transaction volumes and for administering dynamic business models, as it allows the companies of this segment to generate charges and to invoice new services, ranging from Web navigation from a localization device in a car to the consumption of videos from a mobile phone.

It is a solution geared to the service convergence in a context in which, although the user uses different providers for consuming each of those services, he needs to receive a single, consolidated invoice at the end of the month, with all expenses included and described.
