Movilnet offers three phone models assembled in the country

The state mobile operator Movilnet is already offering three mobile phone models with the sticker "made in Venezuela." It deals with integrated devices made in the factories Vtelca and Orinoquia that operate on GSM networks.

Vtelca produces two models, the Vergatario -officially presented more than a year ago- and El Caribe, with a touch screen; while in  Orinoquia they produce the model known as Bicentennial (Orinoquia C5589).  Currently, the company produces about 1,000 devices per day.

CNDC objects to Telefónica-Telecom merger, raising legal and competition concerns
