The IS-21 satellite, which Intelsat will launch during the fourth quarter of 2012, will become the main satellite to broadcast direct to home (DTH) services of Sky Mexico. The agreement between Sky Mexico and Intelsat Global Sales & Marketing, entails the leasing of 24 transponders, which will mainly be used to receive signals and provide retransmission services for the satellite’s estimated 15 years of life.
