Dato Group buys Sersat Telecomunicaciones -fourth acquisition in 10 months

Argentine Datco bought Sersat Telecomunicaciones, one of the pioneers in transmission and distribution of audio and video contents for an amount unrevealed by any of the parties.

From this purchase, all customers connected to different Datco networks anywhere in  Argentina and Chile, will be able to generate and upload vido to the satellite on the spot and have services to be managed from end to end. Sersat customers will incorporate professional TI services for migration to new Tapeless environments which are under the specialists of state-of-the-art digital audiovisual media and storage for Bid Data.

In the last 10 months,  Datco bought several companies in the sector. In October 2011 it undertook the operation of  Interservices Consulting, one of the major partners of Oracle in the region, and of Baitcon, a consulting firm specilized in SAP solutions for various industries. Also, in June this year, it purchased the software and  computer services company, Quanam Argentina.
