Emcompass purchased TIBA

Multinational company dedicated to operating broadcasting facilities, Encompass, announced that it had acquired TIBA's operations, satellite telecommunications company providing value added services mainly on video. None of the companies have informed the amount of the transaction.

Today TIBA offers services for global clients such as FOX, Disney, ESPN, DirecTV, and Turner, including content management, channels header and non lineal transmission of video distribution to multiple platforms, satellite capacity sales, and others. In all TIBA handles more than 140 channels throughout Latin America.
