Telemicro business group announced that it reached an agreement with the Energy Consortium Punta Cana-Macao and acquired the company Aster Communications. Arianne Gómez, daughter of the group's president, Juan Ramon Gómez Díaz, was appointed as General Manager of the company.
Telemicro executives indicated that cable service provided by Aster will be improved and get cheaper, and that five exclusive channels will be included.
