The Supreme Court reopened the case on alleged corruption in the award of radio spectrum to the French company Thales Spectrum in the government of former president Carlos Menem.
The Highest Court reversed the dismissals that had discharged from the investigation former communications minister Germán Kammerath; the Undersecretary Alejandro Cima; the former president of the Comisión Nacional de Comunicaciones (Telecom regulator) Roberto Catalán; former vices Roberto Uanini and Hugo Jorge Zothner; former Controller of the Comisión Nacional de Comunicaciones (Telecom regulator) Alberto Gabrielli; Patricio Feune de Colombi, Matías Bourdieu and Luis Romero, former members of the commission.
All them had been dismissed in 2011 due to a non-unanimous ruling of the Federal Court of Criminal Appeal, arguing that it was not proven the fraudulent maneuver against government.
