Spanish BTESA awarded DTT second deployment phase

The public media system Señal Colombia awarded the Spanish company Broad Telecom (BTESA) the second phase of digital terrestrial television (DTT) implementation in the country. The company will be responsible for civil works and installation of equipment for six new stations, located in the cities of Armenia, Florence, Monteria, Neiva, San Andrés and Sincelejo. 

This new phase will allow the technology to reach a 65% coverage of the Colombian population.
